This service is designed for families seeking a precise understanding of how a child thinks, learns, and functions, particularly in cases where there is uncertainty, inconsistency, or high academic or developmental stakes.
When This Assessment Is Pursued
Families typically pursue this evaluation when:
- a child’s performance does not match their apparent ability;
- there are overlapping or unclear concerns (e.g., attention, learning, or social functioning);
- prior assessments have not provided sufficient clarity;
- decisions are required regarding school placement, accommodations, or long-term planning.
Scope of Assessment
The assessment includes:
- multi-source data collection, including interview, standardized testing, and collateral information;
- in-person evaluation sessions;
- analysis across cognitive processes, attention, working memory, processing speed and efficiency, academic, and social-emotional domains;
- a written report addressing the referral questions;
- a feedback session to review findings and recommendations.
Use of Findings
Depending on the referral question, this evaluation may be used to:
- support applications for academic accommodations and / or modifications;
- guide educational planning or school placement decisions;
- clarify diagnostic questions where concerns are complex or overlapping;
- inform longer-term academic or developmental strategy.
Availability
A limited number of assessments are accepted each month. Appointments are offered on a selective, rolling basis rather than through a standing waitlist.

This is a fixed-fee service of $7,500.
The assessment is typically completed within 4-6 weeks from the first testing session.

Clinical Considerations
- Diagnostic conclusions (e.g., ADHD, learning disorders, autism) are provided only when clearly supported by the data and relevant to the referral question;
- Autism-related assessment components may be included when clinically indicated;
- This service is limited to school-aged children and adolescents aged 5 to 21.

Consultation may be available to review and interpret previously completed psychoeducational or diagnostic assessments where clarification is required. This service is distinct from the Strategic Learning & Development Assessment (SL&DA) and does not involve new testing or formal evaluation.
