Evaluation isn't part of my practice. It is my practice. |
Psychological Expertise. Thoughtfully Delivered.
My practice is built on one clear principle: every service, whether an assessment or consultation, must be meaningful, thorough, and defensible. I specialize in high-quality psychological evaluations and expert advisory services for legal professionals and families, particularly in situations where the questions are complex and the stakes are high. Whether clarifying a learner’s profile or advising on a sensitive family matter, I offer insight, not just information.

There are four service options:
- Comprehensive Section 211 Evaluation (Parenting Plan Evaluation / Child Custody Evaluation):
A comprehensive assessment addressing the child(ren)’s needs, parental abilities, and the fit between parental ability and the child(ren)’s needs in order to offer individualized parenting plan recommendations. - Brief Focused Section 211 Evaluations:
Limited-scope, time-sensitive evaluations that answer a single question about a specific parenting issue. - Views of the Child Assessment:
An evaluative interview process designed to gather and report child(ren)’s views and preferences in a developmentally appropriate, respectful manner for use in developing parenting plans or to assisting the court in understanding the child(ren)’s perspective in family law proceedings. - Violence Risk Assessment:
A structured evaluation of concerns related to past or ongoing violence, coercive control, or emotional harm. This includes analysis of risk factors, protective factors, and future safety planning, and is often used to inform whether contact between a parent and child can proceed safely, and under what conditions.

While some may look for a “psychoeducational”, "autism", or “neuropsychological” assessment, this offering goes further: it’s more strategic, more personalized, and more practically focused on what matters next.
Common reasons families pursue this service:
- Gain insight into how a child learns, thinks, and interacts
- Clarify why a child may be underperforming despite high ability or external support
- Understand whether a child’s challenges reflect effort, anxiety, or underlying neurodiversity
- Clarify whether a child meets criteria for a particular diagnosis (e.g., ADHD, autism, learning disorder)
- Identify co-occurring neurodevelopmental features—such as ADHD, autism traits, and giftedness—and understand how these domains interact
- Explore twice-exceptionality (giftedness + learning differences)
- Recognize non-traditional or subtle neurodiverse learning profiles, including internalized or masked presentations of autism (e.g., anxiety-based inhibition, high social camouflage)
- Document learning needs to access academic accommodations (e.g., SSAT, ISEE, SAT, ACT, or university disability services)
- Guide decisions about school transitions, placement, retention, or acceleration
- Gain peace of mind before committing to a high-stakes school program or pathway
- Strategically plan for a child’s long-term academic trajectory—even in the absence of obvious concerns
